OAT Ultimate Africa Trip in July 2013

We began our three week trip on July 6, 2013, flying from Los Angeles to Johannesburg South Africa with a travel group consisting of 15 travelers and Priscilla as our guide.  Here is a video taken during the trip and a composite of our fellow travelers:

The next item is a video of the various pictures taken by our trip leader Priscilla.  You can click on the white arrow to begin and view the video.  Turn your computer speakers on and if you double click on the image, the image will enlarge (although some picture quality may be lost).  It should be noted the video ends in Johannesburg after our group has visited four safari camps, flown on several small planes, visited Victoria Falls and generally ate unbelievably well, drank wonderful South Africa wines, got along with all our travel companions and managed to end the trip without any major mishap or fear of our security.  Then there were six of us that completed a post trip to Cape Town with the Cape Town and other videos and pictures taken by me and other included in this blog following the Priscilla 1 video:

The following is a video collection of a few of the many pictures I took ( over 2200) on the trip (click on the lower arrow once or twice to start video and turn your computer speakers on):

The first camp visited was the BaoBab facility,s one of the four safari camp we visited and operated by Wilderness Safari Company.  The first camp is located in Chobe National Park in northern Botswana and what a greeting we received as this video indicates (click on the arrow to start video):

The following is a video of a cheetah at a frequent hiding site behind
a termite mound.  Cheetahs look like leopards except for their smaller head
with a black teardrop beneath both eyes.  Cheetahs are chasers whereas

At each of the camps, on the last evening, the camp staff sang and/or danced for our group and our group was then asked to perform for the camp staff.  Accordingly, the four videos below were of us singing at camp 3 (and taken by a camp staff member):

On July 19 as we were driving to a Zimbabwe village in Hwange National Park we were able to see the above male Cheetah, the baboons playing and the two male lion brothers next to their cape buffalo kill.  We then visited a village school and were met at the gate by its 7th grade class with 21 girls and 16 boys who then sang welcoming songs in the following video:
